We are Steven & Angela and set up Cheeky Chai Tea to share our love and passion for Tea, we are also on a mission to pass on our knowledge of how tea can improve your health, wellbeing and Immuni-Tea.
We also love to travel and want to share our Tea Travels with our amazing Communi-Tea! We fell in love with Tea and Chai when visiting the amazing cities of India & Sri Lanka and sat for hours watching the amazing Chai Wallah's in action blending their Tea & Chai recipes.
There are over 20,000 different teas in the world, here are the six main types of Tea, each has its own differing processing and brewing methods. The least processed to most processed Teas, they are White Tea, Yellow Tea, Green Tea, Oolong Tea, Black Tea, and Puerh Tea. From Ella, to Galle Kandy and now to Stockport, we wanted to know tea better...
And we want to introduce it to you!

Our Tea shop ideas got off the ground after our amazing and inspiring visit to Sri Lanka! We visited this amazing Tea business in Colombo, owned by one of the founding blenders at Lipton Tea! We experienced the Delights of Tea Tasting and our journey got started!

We just love Sri Lanka which is where Ceylon Tea originates, we were magically pulled here and can't wait to visit again! Ceylon Tea The high-grown black tea has a honey golden liquor and is among the best teas which has a distinct flavor, aroma and strength. Sri Lanka is a wonderful country, the landscape is magical, you are spoilt for choice with places to visit, from beaches to Tea Gardens, to Amazing Train Journeys through the mesmerizing Tea Gardens and World Heritage sites!
Our favourite memory was picking Tea in Ella! We had arrived, this was the moment we connected with the truly special, camellia sinensis Tea Plant! The gardens were lush, and the ever green Tea Plant made a memorable, everlasting entrance into our lives! We knew we had to share our journey with others!

Our Cheeky Chai Tea Shop in Stockport! We arrived back after our trip to Sri Lanka and our dream of running our own tea shop fell magically into place! It was our job now to introduce customers to the wonders of the camellia sinensis Tea Plant!
